The replenished oxygen helps to keep your roots healthy, promotes nutrient uptake, and increases the lifespan of your nutrient solution. As the tiny bubbles created by the air stones float to the top, the oxygen bubbles transport toxins from the nutrient solution to the surface for dissipation.
  
  
• The 6" Alfred airstone is ideal for a 10-gallon reservoir and the 12" Alfred airstone is ideal for a 20-gallon reservoir. All Alfred Horticulture airstones fit standard 1/4" tubing and lay flat on the bottom of your reservoir to prevent plant root tangling.
